I'm sure anything can be rebuilt if you do it yourself (assuming you can find the parts), but paying someone to do it will likely cost more than a replacement. I took a guess on your model, but a 2-speed transfer case for a 2014 Limited V6 is $908 (after sending in your old one). I don't know what kind of labor cost is involved, but I expect several hours at least.

However, remember you have powertrain warranty (used to be 5yr / 100K mi, 5/60K now I think), and I assume the transfer case is part of this warranty if you are still eligible.
