Re: Popping sound when applying brakes

I think were talking about two different things. Is it a noise or a feeling in the steerling wheel?

Re: Popping sound when applying brakes

one Russian owner of 3.6 found in his car did not tighten the nuts stabilizer and concluded that it is necessary after 5000 kilometers to tighten all the fittings in the front suspension
...after the fault sounds disappeared

I think you might be right, I have more of a feeling than a sound, but I will likely check for tightness of visible front suspension components when I get a chance just to make sure.

Mine is a feeling. A dull thud when applying brakes felt in the steering wheel.

Re: Popping sound when applying brakes

Mine is also just a feeling in the steerling wheel. No noise.

Re: Popping sound when applying brakes

This is for the popping noise not the feeling in the steering wheel.
