Well, went to check out under my car today for fun and do my tires pressures and discovered some stuff. I work as a technician for DCH Toyota so i have availability to a lift every day
So i took a look under the hood to check my dipstick since i switched over to mobil1 full synthetic to check to see if i was burning any oil and it was perfect. Then in the corner of my eye i see that my Electro-Power steering fluid is quite low for a car with only 19,000 miles on it. I Lifted it in the air and took out my flashlight and quickly noticed that the rubber boots on the outer tie rod ends on the power steering rack were a tad wet compared to the rest. (Usually when i see a power steering rack leaking on the vehicles i service i notice the rubber boots are a little wet due to the inner seals of the rack leaking) I will post pictures up as soon as i can and i will be going to jeep this week. Also stated in the title, i noticed a little seepage from the motor near the oil pan. Going to have them check that out as well. Good thing i have the availability to a lift because if this was a normal consumer who doesn't see any drips on the driveway, guaranteed that the techs at jeep wouldn't say a thing about a leak under warranty.
