Re: Post your experiences with the TSB 18-012-11

Just had the latest applied today.

Harsh 4-3 downshift is history.

Definitely more torque in higher gears with less pedal effort. This makes many of the upshifts less-if-at-all annoying. I used to feel like the engine was almost quitting after some of the upshifts.

Still holds a high gear on a hill a little too long for my liking, but applying a little pedal will trigger a _much_ nicer downshift than before, much sooner. I have to figure they're trying to maximize fuel economy, and that's why I bought the V6, so I'll accept it.

Gear selection and shift points are better tuned. The progression from 1st to 2nd to 3rd from a dead stop seems much more sane, especially up a hill.

The powertrain feels much more refined in general. Like they replaced the monkey who programmed it originally with a higher order primate-- maybe a gorilla or a chimp. j/k Kudos jeep.
