Post your experiences with the TSB 18-012-11

As announced by Milous (see link below) the new TSB is out which is supposed to fix all of our acceleration and shift issues for the 3.6 l engine.

I am sure some of you went straight to the dealer to get it implemented.

Please use this thread to post your experiences.

Attention WK2 3.6L owners - New TSB for Shudder, harsh shifts, performance and more!

I spoke with my dealer on Friday afternoon and this new update wasn't in their system yet, nor was the HVAC update.

I'm in Canada though, likely a delay between Chrysler USA and Chrysler Canada.

Re: Post your experiences with the TSB 18-012-11

Does anyone know if this tsb has more improvement over the esc tsb, because it seems to me after I had the esc one done all these issues went away on mine and the performance is much better now. So I don't know if I should take it back or if maybe this was also included in the first update as well.

I am interested in knowing this also, as I had the first update done and it seemed to address theses issues as well.

Re: Post your experiences with the TSB 18-012-11

My jeep was done on saturday with the TCM tsb and the ESC tsb and I notice a big difference in performance and much smoother shifting. The Esc was a recall and the Tcm was done by the mechanic without even asking me because he said that I'm picky and that I would probably come in and do the tsb on a later date anyways.(Lol) I would recommend doing it!

Re: Post your experiences with the TSB 18-012-11

Tried to get the TSB installed but they keep telling me this doesnt apply to my vehicle and Chrysler is working on a fix for the 3.6 hesitation. I gave my service manager the TSB number and said she talked to STARS Chrysler engineers and their reply is the fix is coming but not ready yet....I dont get it
