Power Window Issues

I picked up our New 14 JGC Summit on friday afternoon. The process and the walk thru went very smoothly.

When I was set to leave, I went to roll up the drivers' window and it went most of the way up...slowly...then reversed back down. Tried it again with the same results.

I went back and showed my salesman and we discovered that the window was somewhat loose in the door and binds as it approaches the top.

Because it was late in the day, they we not able to do anything that day.

I don't really mind taking it back to resolve the issue, but I'd like to have an idea what, most likely, this fix will be...replacement parts or a quick adjustment. I don't want them tell me that "we need the vehicle all day" as I have other things I need the vehicle for.

Thanks in advance for any and all help...

Re: Power Window Issues

They don't offer rentals? I just dropped mine off for a week at the dealership so they could check my heads. They gave me a rental car voucher and called Enterprise to pick me up. I was told with warranty work rentals, my dealership is required to use a Chrysler vehicle. I'm now in a 2014 JGC Limited 4x4 until mine is ready. You can at least request a loaner for a day. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply.

I am getting a loaner for the day but the service department couldn't/wouldn't give me any idea how long the repair would take. I had hoped to be able to get the GC in for a Clear Bra application on the same day but couldn't book anything because the service people wouldn't commit to a time. I hoped someone here could give me an idea what the fix would be so that I could make some plans.
