If it helps anyone, here is an update on the climate control issue with my December build Summit:
I heard from my Case Manager, Dealer Service Director and a regional service exec, who all said that they are aware of the problem and are doing two things:
- they will replace the head unit
- they are working on a software update to go with the new head unit
They told me that the head unit is now at the dealer, but they want to wait until they have the software update to do both.
The Case Manager said that Chrysler is also hearing from Minivan customers who are having the same climate control issues.
The Case Manager said that there is also a Technical Service Bulletin on the issues I am having related to intermittent functioning of the keyless entry system, so they will perform that fix when they do the others.
