Ok just received another call from Chrysler I was advised that they are aware of the problem it's called "Hot Cabin" they stated they know it's not normal and a fix should be out any day. They advised me they have been working on the fix for a while and it is ready to be released to the dealers. He stated he would call me next week with another update. I can tell you they have called me every week for a month to keep me updated. I think another post stated something similar to this so maybe things will be normal by summer.

pray for a software RRT so we don't have to battle the dealers on it to convince them it is necessary.

You do seem to have a good dealer, very attentive. mine is the type that would just say it is normal and move on. what is your location I would drive a 100 miles if I could find a good dealer.

This aligns with what family is seeing. Brothers gc is earlier build date and no hvac issues. Mine and my cousins later build date and we have the heater issues. Sure hope they fix it by next winter!

My jeep rep from corporate came back and said it was normal. Hope someone else has better luck getting it fixed for all of us.

Thanks to Bronx9 we know they are acknowledging that it is not normal and a problem and are calling the problem "Hot Cabin". call your rep and tell them you know more than they do and it is called Hot Cabin and they should research that a little more instead of blowing you off to get rid of you.

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

When they have the solution the TSB will be posted on wk2jeeps.com. Why waste time calling Jeep and getting upset because the customer service rep doesn't know what the engineers are doing. If you have a one off problem that would be a different story. Once they acknowledge that they are working on a problem, calling isn't going to make them work faster.

In fact, we don't want them to rush things. That's why we have these issues in the first place, somebody decided to rush things.

Willx had posted quite a while back that it would be second quarter before a fix would be ready.

IMHO

I'm aware of that Bill but if no one ever complained about anything then nothing would ever get fixed the more complaints they get on something then the more they realize the number of customers that are upset about it and hopefully put a little priority behind it.

Rush them lol I don't consider my jeep being 13 months old cooking me for the last 6 months rushing them. its got issues even in the summer just not as bad as the winter. so they need a little pushing or maybe it will be the 2 year anniversary instead of the 1 year before it gets fixed.

This is my first experience with a Chrysler product and in my opinion Chrysler customer service is plain terrible they are the worst I have experienced of auto manufactures. so yes beat on them yell at them until they start doing a better job.

All that said I do like my Jeep and I want them to get the problems worked out
