Might take a little convincing (I fought Acura that the TSB through 2010 perfectly described the issue on my 2011 - turns out it really was the same issue) but it should work out.
Turbo I would try but I think it is very VIN driven and dealer will reject it if it does not apply to that vin. Hopefully they will come out with another one that applies for build dates prior to July 2013.

Sent you a PM. Maybe two. My phone died as I was sending the first one. Glad I have two phones

I bought my Jeep 2014 in July of 2013 so you should be fine.

They are probably having a very hard time finding an affordable fix for this considering it likely effects every 2014 made whether people chose to complain about it or not.
I see that they have released the TSB for the HVAC, so I wish all of you good luck.

To answer Silvermax's question, I heard today the dreaded "it's preforming as designed", so I am back to square one. The dealership sent a regional tech rep to tell me this.

My issue though seems to be the opposite of others here: my Summit diesel blows 54 degree air at fan level 5 for an unending period from between 62 - 79 degrees setting, and has done so since I picked it up in January. Doesn't matter the outside temp. Both the service director and asst director said it's not operating properly, but the tech rep said they "are not qualified" to have an opinion. LOL

One way or another I am out of this vehicle, even though I like it a lot.

Between this and three check engine lights in 3200 miles, this is my first and last Chrysler product.

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

I noticed the high temperate when we set the auto mode. But i noticed once the vehicle heats up the temperature maintains pretty well what we set. It might be a quick peek to achieve the set temperature.... not sure, that's what i thinks........

Hi bronx9, was the update for this TSB?
http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_2400314.pdf

Just wanted to make sure, I haven't had a chance to check my 2014 JGC for this issue, b/c its at the dealer for the CV boot issue.

Thanks!

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

Yes that is it. Call your dealer and have them do the update while the truck is in.

I think I'll wait to see if I have the issue first, if so, then I'll bring it back to get it updated. I've been weary about getting s/w updates on my vehicles if they aren't needed, I got burned on my 2012 Tiguan that I asked for a transmission s/w update, and the trans wasn't the same after it, I ended up trading in the car and losing 10K on it. So I think I will wait and test it out first, lol!

But Thank you for confirming the TSB for me, much appreciated friend!
