No problem. Good luck with the Jeep hope your HVAC works normal.

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

I had mine done today at Gary Miller in Erie, and so far, so good. Will wait and see if this is finally fixed, once I have driven it more.

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

I have had this done as well, seem much closer to what I believe it should have been.

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

Well I've got about 3 TSBs that I need to get done (including this one), as well as having them fix the rubber seal around my 2 back rear door windows.

Hoping it all goes well...

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

Excellent news... Ive been dealing with the issue as well and monitoring this thread.

I have to keep the temperature set between 60 - 63 just to get a relatively comfortable setting.

Plus, I noticed this week, that when the A/C is on in auto mode (Havent used the A/C until recently), it was blowing on the windshield like the defroster instead of into the cabin. Anyone else have this issue? Im hoping this is addressed in the flash as well.

I was able to cool down the cabin manually.. Auto kept throwing it back into defroster mode.

yes agree all the air blasting the defrost and then never backing off even when the cabin is sweltering is the biggest issue I have also. the colder the weather is the worse it is, say 20F degrees. the warm weather operation is not what I call acceptable but you can work with it understand it and get the jeep comfortable. the winter time operation is hot and not comfortable and much worse.

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

Anyone else with a pre July '13 build date have this done? Not sure why they didn't apply this to all the 2014's as I've had the heater issues since day one. Mine is pre July '13. Curious if the dealers will willingly perform the TSB if it doesn't technically apply.

Thanks

Mine is March 2013 build, I am going to go to the dealer and try to have it done when I am back in town in about two weeks. Concerned also that they are just going to dismiss it as it is outside of the time frame they gave. I will report back the result when I do. Crossing fingers

Re: Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater

Dropped my car off this morning (7am) at the Dealer. Picked it up at 9:30am. They did computer up dates the radio, heater/air and transmission with recent updates. I hope at least one issue is fixed.

You forgot to add, "...and that no new bugs were added."

For example, the latest radio firmware always forgets I have it on SXM and switches back to FM every time I switch from Radio to Media (and back). This wasn't the case in the previous version.

Haha, I hope I don't get frozen during the winter or something once the Hot Cabin flash is applied.

They seem to have fun breaking things while "fixing" others.
Shuffle used to stay on after ignition cycles on my ram, another firmware comes along and gets rid of this feature whike fixing nothing else. Thanks chrysler!
