That's because it wasn't a repair. If they had to fill the system there has to be a leak. Filling the system is a waste of time if you don't fix the leak.

Re: Problem with Quadra Lift

Just an update on my problem with the quadra lift. My WK2 has been at the dealer for a week now. They have replaced the relay, controller and found a "kink" in the air tubing so some tubing is on order as well. Hopefully with all this time and part replacement this will be a permanent fix.

Re: Problem with Quadra Lift

I had the same problem with mine, an unusual number of little "breath" noises from the tank audible inside the vehicle, vehicle wouldn't go into OR1 or OR2. It was fine going into and out of Sport mode.

Took it to the dealer, they said the nitrogen pressure was fine. They ordered a new set of hoses (they come as a set) and replaced the rear air line. Took two days, I picked it up yesterday. So far it works fine, but if it craps out again I'm going to push them on the compressor.

But it's making me rethink whether to get a MaxCare warranty.

Those are the exact symptoms that I have with mine. Hopefully this repair works.

Re: Problem with Quadra Lift

After 8 days as the Jeep Dealership and involvement by the Chrysler Star team, I finally got my WK2 back. The Quadra lift worked for a couple days and now will not go into OR1 or OR2 again. Same problem I have had all along. Any suggestions? I have had to the dealership 3 times now.

Re: Problem with Quadra Lift

Sounds like it needs to be replaced with a Jeep that has a working QL or traditional springs...

I was skeptical about it, but after having it, I am certainly glad my WK2 is equipped with it. Smoother ride, lower entrance height, great for offroading. Most people do not have a problem with it.

I would bet a high percentage of Jeep owners leave it in Auto and never mess with it and many people have issues and don't even know it. i didn't know mine was broke until my buddy who owned the same vehicle suggested that I go through all the motions. I did and found it "broke" will not raise all the way up.. light stays on, overheat message. . His was delivered new broke - same issue . Will not go all the way up. Its cool feature as long as its under warranty.

I am not sure that mine every worked either. I just know that when I did try to use it, it would not raise the vehicle up on OFR 1 or OFR 2. Works fine going down to sport or park.

STIX is just really nice
Re: Problem with Quadra Lift

Don't waste your time guys. Search for my threads. My jeep basically wrote the SOP for QL issues and resolution.

Do yourself a favor and look into your states lemon law requirements. If you've had it in to the dealer twice that's enough in NJ.

Otherwise you will be pulling your hair out over this problem. Trust me it ain't worth it.
