Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

Update:

Just picked the jeep up from the dealer after having the compressor replaced. This took care of the problem. Tested it in all positions everything is working good now. They did have all the tools and class 5 nitrogen for refilling the system. I was very pleased that this went smoothly today.

Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

Great news! I had to take mine back a third time today as the Chrysler engineers wanted the service technician to hook up all the computers and take a "snapshot," then send it to them. I thought this had already been done, apparently not. Hopefully it will finally lead them to the problem.

I also spoke to my Service Manager. He is ordering a compressor and the proper nitrogen refilling equipment as he has two other Overlands he is working on with malfunctioning Quadra-Lift systems in addition to mine...one is stuck at OR2!

Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

glad to hear replacing the compressor fixed it! let's hope it stays this way.. summer is coming up and I'll be going into ORI and ORII more often and hoping the new compressor won't give me any problems.. lol

STIX is just really nice
Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

Well. Hopefully the fourth time is a charm. Dealer had her for a week and replaced the ENTIRE air suspension system. Tubing, harneses, bags, compressor, rear mounts, EVERYTHING. When I went in to check on it Friday the service manager said it was in pieces on. The shop floor. Yikes!!

It has never worked better... So fast. I almost forgot what the system was like since it's been months without using it.

If it doesn't hold then lemon law here I come but I'm optimistic.n wish me luck.

Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

Hi everyone! Just asking for advice here. I don't know if I should bother my dealer now or wait. I got 2011 JGC with QL- only 800 miles on it (yet) and somewhere a week ago noticed every morning I start it raises up no normal height, but I don't use park mode and usually leave it at normal. The system works OK (tried a few times in all modes with my fingers crossed) and displays no warning messages. I think if it was a leak it would end up broken somehow by now?

I was at the dealer 2 times with my (my wifes) 2011 JGC for the same problem. They keep my SUV for 3 days each time and run all kind of tests, they call tech support and run more tests and after 6 days (total) the verdict was "IS NORMAL". After all this I don't bother go back to the dealer any more.

Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

If you park on an incline, it's normal.

Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

It's normal for it to lower a little bit when parked, my Parent's have a GL450 with air suspension and an old '98 Range rover and they both do the same thing. I was working in the garage for about 10 minutes after I parked my Jeep and could hear the air suspension lower and make a few hissing sounds, totally normal.

Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

Mine is also on a flat surface. And last night I left it in park/down. This morning it raised itself a little bit back to park level so I estimate it somehow went below "park"? Probably right thing to do would be to measure clearance before/after. But again it still operates without problems (so far, nock on wood).

Re: Quadra Lift Problem??

It's normal. The system is designed to drop to a resting height when not in use. Then when you start her up she will go to normal ride height.

Had the same question...phoned it in and the engineer confirmed it
