That's priceless right there. Similar to when you go to a store and ask for a part and they don't have it, so they ask you why you need it.

Re: Quadra Lift Service Advice

Well got it back from the dealer for the 3rd time. Seems to be fixed now...

They did not replace the Compressor or ASCM. They called the STAR team and reprogrammed the system for the 3rd time. Looks like their help got it right...

They were telling me that after the system is wiped it has to be reprogrammed manually and they did not do it right the first two times.

I have the exact same problem the last 3 days. Hear strange (air releasing?) noises and can't go to OR1 or OR2. Did get to OR1 a couple days ago but took a very long time, and couldn't do it yesterday or today. Can you please look at your paperwork and give me the STAR #?

Good to hear they may have fixed yours.

Thanks!

Re: Quadra Lift Service Advice

I will take a look and see when I get to the paperwork...

I got the hint that if something goes out of sorts with the system and then it needs to be flashed/reprogrammed. I have no idea why the process is so manual for something that needs to be so specific for it for work.

Re: Quadra Lift Service Advice

There is no STAR number or mention of the STAR team on the paperwork. You will have to tell the dealer to call the STAR line and get the information on what is needed for manual calibration of the Air System. Like i said before it seems that it was to be very specific in how they need to do it.

Been a couple of days now and tried to put it through its paces and all seems to be fixed...crossing my fingers that it will stay that way or break all the way while under MaxCare...

The grand total was 20.76 for the work they did. Don't know how with the amount of labor they did, but they said I would pay 100 and file through the warranty or pay the 21 bucks. Plus a free rental for 3 days...

Did you ask the dealer why he hires service techs who can't fix the cars he sells?

That's great news. I still need to make an appointment with the dealer.

Re: Quadra Lift Service Advice

Good news! I never contacted my dealer. I just decided to try OR1 when I got home tonight. It worked and only took 3 seconds. So I tried OR2 and it worked in 3 seconds too. Park, Aero, and Normal have always worked. So it looks like my Jeep fixed it's air suspension itself. Hopefully it continues to work fine. I'm ecstatic!

Yeah I got mine to work every once and a while. Never to OR2 though. Hopefully the CPU fixed itself. IF it wonks out again I am sure we had the same issue.

Re: Quadra Lift Service Advice

Well went to actually use the suspension at the beach and didn't work. Time to get Chrysler involved to get parts replaced and not reprogrammed.
