Quadralift Air Suspension Problems 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

My 2012 WK2 Overland 4x4 developed a problem with the air suspension that causes the compressor to constantly run to level the car, the car does not sit level, and when the car sits for more than a couple hours the forward driver side collapses so that the wheel nearly touches the fender. The car has about 38,000 miles on it, but I reported the problem around 28,000 miles and they kept saying it was fixed (even though it wasn't) so they are good willing the problem under warranty.

From what I understand to date they have replaced "the quadralift control module", they've "recalibrated the system" and checked for leaks and found none.

Anyone else experience a similar problem and have a resolution?

I'm more interested in getting it fixed than a rant, but here's the rest of the story: My car has been at the dealer for two months - Chrysler is paying for a rental car fortunately, but the dealer can't fix it and Chrysler says they promoted the field tech who services South Florida and they haven't found a replacement. My car is stuck in purgatory. Needless to say I'm frustrated and this car is actually a replacement for my 2011 WK2 that Chrysler bought back because it was a lemon, so this is the second time I'm going through this. As with my last car, the case management/ chrysler customer service is more frustrating than helpful, What the hell is going on with Jeep?!

As of now. A Chrysler field tech visited the car on Thursday and I'm told they ordered an air compressor... To be determined whether this is the fix. Non tech common sense: why would three out of four quadrants work fine with a single compressor?

Sheesh. I had a 1986 Subaru XT 1.8L Turbo Coupe 4WD with the air suspension. Same problem. The issue? A blown shock. In your case, if not that, then a pinhole in the air line leading to that shock. Not exactly rocket science here.

I wonder why the dealer is struggling so much?

Does the air pump have integrated level control valves that might be defective? If all the level control valves are outside the pump, it's completely illogical to replace the pump given the symptoms you described. Troubleshooting 101.

Sounds like the problem is with the valve block. They probably ordered a new compressor because I believe it comes with the valve block. I don't think you can buy the valve block separately. The valve block probably has one circuit that is leaking by and allowing that one air spring to go low on pressure and that is why it is only affecting one corner of the vehicle.

I guess that would explain why they would order a compressor to deal with a leveling problem. They needed the level control valves that came with the compressor.
