Re: Quadralift FAILED

I have an extended service contract so it'll cost me $100. Today the QL works fine again except it takes longer to engage the lift. They flashed the brain box for it last week so I'm not sure if this is a problem or simply new programming. Sometimes I press the lift button and it takes 10 seconds for the orange arrow to show up on the speedo display.

I only have the 7/60k warranty and the vehicle has 53k on it. In the last 2 months I've had a blend door issue, water pump failure, a/c fan failure and now this.... might be time to move on.

Make sure everything's done before that warranty runs out.

Re: Quadralift FAILED

As it turns out.... mine only leaks when loaded up with a trailer. It holds air just fine till I add trailer weight.

Re: Quadralift FAILED

I have a 2015 Overland with with the Quadralift. Today, I'm taking it in for the 3rd time for this problem. "Service air suspension immediately" is the warning indicator. The 1st time, they supposedly replaced the compressor, and the 2nd, they kept the car for 3 days, and drove it 100 miles after the recharge with no leaks. Four days after getting it back, the dummy light went off again! I'm on a lease, and I called this into the corporate office to open a case for me. If this is a $2k-$3k option, then the dealership should take off $60-$90/month, or give me another car. This is a bunch of BS for an almost $50K car!

I'll update this thread as I go along, but beware with these things...seems like an engineering F-up...

If it was an engineering mess up it would be a broad spectrum issue across the whole platform.

When polls have been done here it was a relatively small number of people with issues. The majority were trouble free. So probably not an engineering problem. You say a light comes on, but does the system still work? It could be a sensor/computer glitch.

As for the dealer reducing your lease ... that's funny. When you leased the car the dealer sold it to the lease company. He has nothing more to do with that transaction.

Re: Quadralift FAILED

No, when trying to lift the car either direction, the lift indicator light (button near gear shift) just flashes. As far as the lease issue, I understand what you're saying, but again, if I'm paying for something that doesn't work, why should I pay for it?!? Like having only front wheel drive, but paying for 4 wheel drive...just saying...

Re: Quadralift FAILED

Makes sense buts it's like when
You have a fire at your home and you're displaced for 3-6 months. While it's unfortunate the mortgage company is still looking for that payment on time every month. Hang in there, with some patience this will be resolved one way or another.

Re: Quadralift FAILED

So, the latest is that they're ordering a compressor which they supposedly replaced the first time (lie much?!?). It's on backorder, and won't be in for up to two months...ugh...
