Re: Quadralift lifting while driving

At what speeds?
Are you saying the jeep is in aero mode and is going up to normal ride height while travelling at aero speeds?

Re: Quadralift lifting while driving

In the first year of my 2011, it often lifted to OR1 when the car was started. That was after it had been parked in Auto ride height. About 10 times it has lifted from Auto to OR1 while driving at speeds up to 70 km/h, but again it hasn't done it for at least half a year now. Of course no buttons was pressed or dials switched. Dealer claimed it was a normal "calibration", so maybe the QL has finally calibrated itself ;-)

Or maybe it's just gotten used to being upside down in OZ!!

Maybe you could explain how you know that it is lifting. Are you simply hearing it activate the pumps? Are you only seeing "raising" messages (not sure how the 2013 shows this)? Are you seeing the OR1 status show up? Are you driving by windows and see the vehicle raise in the reflection? When you say that it is lifting, just what do you mean?

My 2014 will sometimes show the "raising" message when it really isn't doing anything and the message won't go away until I shut off the Jeep (I know this because I can stop the Jeep and hear that the compressors are not running, although they probably were at some point).

I sometimes get this hung raising message but only when coming out of entry/exit mode after going over 15mph. Agree that the QL system is working correctly and it appears to be a firmware/software glitch. My QL system works fine and easily can achieve any position that I set it to.

It could be that is not actually lifting and its just the light, I'm not sure. It hasn't happened since I made this thread. but it shouldn't be happening.

Now all I need is time to go to the dealer and drop my jeep off

Does it go up to OR 1 or 2 while driving?

Does it go up to normal height when it should be in aero mode?

At what speed does it lift?

It goes to 1.

It goes to 2 some times by itself, but only when parked.

I've also noticed that the ride when i drive is bumpy all of the sudden. Could this be related or isn't normal to be a bumpy ride over every little bump in the road?

Getting frustrated with my Jeep.

Time for a trip to the dealer.
