Re: Question about locking the jeep

Either with the key fob, the button on the door, or the button on the liftgate. Out of curiosity, why do you ask?

None of the above. I seldom lock it.

The reason I ask is because I have an issue everyone once in a while when I go to open the door by putting my hand on the door handle the door unlocks but sometimes the interior lights don't pop on until the door has been open for a few seconds. I have noticed though it seems to only do this if I locked it from inside after I got out the last time. I don't know for sure because it doesn't do it every time, but it has never done it after locking the door from the button on the handle or the from the fob. I have not seen that issue really mentioned here except for maybe one other member so I though maybe every one locks from the fob or the door handle. So I'm not really sure.

Re: Question about locking the jeep

Nearly always with the button on the door...on the outside of the vehicle. It's a nice feature on my JGC.

All of the above but most of the time, I just lock it from the inside switch.
