I have also tried and no luck. I did it at the jeep dealership and they said that I might have the key fob for setting number two on me so I did I for memory two and than it worked but have tried again with other key and still no luck. I have also had my phone with me so will try without it.

Re: Question regarding programming key fob to memory?

I know this thread is old but while the manual says to press the "lock" button on then remote it is actually the "unlock" buton you need to press. And there would be no acknowledgement from the Uconnect either.

Angry Re: Question regarding programming key fob to memory?

I have tried all the techniques in the quick guide, owners manuals (I have 2 and the procedures are different in each) and all of the tips in this thread. Still nothing. I never get any messages from UConnnect that the FOB has been programmed, and, of course, they don't work. Also, I have set the Passive Entry on in UConnect and it doesn't appear to do anything either. That is, not only does it not impact the programming of the FOBs, but it doesn't cause the set to move when entering/exiting the car.

I've spent 2 hours trying to get these programmed. Very frustrating.

Re: Question regarding programming key fob to memory?

I spent that long in the second fob. One night it just worked and I had done nothing different.
