Re: radio issue...

Same here. And my presets aren't saving. Every time I set them they are different when I turn the car back on. It's annoying as hell.

Re: radio issue...

I just noticed this issue too. Randomly my stations or songs (if I'm playing them through my phone) will start to walk "up" as if I'm hitting the forward scan button. Strange.

Re: radio issue...

Just a thought, are you inadvertently tapping the buttons on the back of the steering wheel behind the EVIC controls?

Also, for presets, are they mated to the key fob you use?

Re: radio issue...

On mine it's acting like hitting the buttons on the wheel. However, it has done this twice, sitting there, with nothing touching the wheel or radio. In my case I'm suspecting a bad switch on the steering wheel.

Re: radio issue...

The only chronic problem I have on mine is the frequent "XM service loading... please wait" pop up. Drives me nuts.

The other day when it did that it actually stayed stuck in that pop up but the radio continued to play the station I was on. I had no control other than volume adjustment. AM and FM worked fine but going back to XM the pop up was still there. Finally was able to reset it when I got to work by shutting the vehicle off and opening/closing the driver door. First and only time so far that has happened.

The only thing I've ever had change on its own was the volume level. A few days ago, I dialed the volume down with the knob and it continued to go down on its own after I stopped turning the knob. That was weird. Again, first and only time so far for that as well.

I know my U-Connect software is in serious need of an update.

yeah...that's how mine is acting as well. the bad switch has been brought up before, but you would think if it was a bad switch that cycling through it would at some point make it act up. it has worked perfectly every time I use it.
