Radio Presets Problem

The issue: When I press the button behind the left side of my steering wheel to cycle through the presets, my radio seems to get confused. Often it will start to cycle through, preset 1, preset 2 and then will start going in numerical order. (ex: 2,9,20,21,22,23,24,25,etc.) Then randomly it will restart with the first preset. Rarely (if ever) will it cycle through all of the presets. Issue is the same on FM and XM radio. Is there a function I am unaware of? Has anyone else had this issue?

Re: Radio Presets Problem

There have been reported problems with the button. Mine did the same thing and I had the button replaced.

Yup. Bad button. BAD button. No dinner for you, button!

Mine also had the same thing; it seems like it gets worse; at first it was a rare thing, then it started not functioning properly more often than not. Had the dealer replace the button under warranty, no more issues since.

Re: Radio Presets Problem

Yep, getting the same thing. Had a bad Cruise Control module on the steering wheel too and had that button cluster replaced, which seemed to have fixed the radio button issue, but it's now back to flipping around the stations randomly.
