+1 - they were awful in my Lexus and I couldn't turn it off. Slow drizzle = as fast as you can go, Downpour = lets slow it down to intermittent. Hated it so much that I made it a point to buy a car without them (or that I could disable), luckily Acura didn't have them in the TL.

The Jeep auto wipers have been the best I've dealt with especially since I figured I'd be disabling them right away but have kept them on because they do exactly what I expect 99% of the time.

Re: Rain Sensing Wipers

I recently replaced my windshield using Safelite. I asked for the OEM windshield and was told that's the only one they had in stock with the rain sensor for my 2011 WK2. Today it rained and my rain sensor isn't working. I researched and also called Safelite and was told it was the correct windshield after telling them the code on the windshield. It's made by Pilkington and is a DW 1840. Any ideas? Bad sensor? It worked up until my windshield cracked. The crack was directly over the sensor.

Re: Rain Sensing Wipers

I'm still up in the air on mine. They seem to work well on the highway in rain. Not so great when going slower. I can say that they suck in the snow. I turn the feature off and set it on my own when I've been in the snow. So far I've only driven in dry snow that blows over the window and misting road spray. I did already replace my wiper blades to the Bosch - ICON I think. They did not have the RainX Latitude in stock which has been my blade of choice but so far these have worked well. A curved/contoured single piece blade is much better then the multiple pressure point wiper blades. The biggest advantage is less ice build up.
