Rattle at Certain Speeds and Gears

I have had my 2014 Grand Cherokee Summit into the dealer multiple times for transmission complaints and upgrades. This is not another thread on that topic specifically, as I have resigned to the fact it will simply not be smooth in ECO mode. The issue I have now, which is driving me crazy, is that my GC has developed a rattle/vibration (almost sounds like metal on metal or hard plastic on plastic) coming from the driver foot well or dash area. The rattle/vibration only happens at certain speeds and in specific gears as I am experiencing the shudder/lag in the transmission. Here is when is happens;

45 MPH in 7th gear
55 MPH in 8th gear

The odd part is that I can be driving 45 MPH in 7th and it is almost like the transmission shifts into another gear but is still in 7th. Is this a torque converter? It is during this "gear within the same gear" shift I notice the rattle. Dealer had it this week and said they could not replicate. I went for a ride with them and could not get it to do it either, but it is now back. The reason it briefly went away was because they reset the transmission to 'learn' mode which changed the shift point briefly, but again is now back.

Sorry for long explanation, but has anyone else experienced this rattle/vibration or have any suggestions?

Re: Rattle at Certain Speeds and Gears

funny I get plastic/dash rattles all over the place, but 1 similar to yours from the footwell at around 1400-1500 rpm.

Assuming you've had all the applicable TSBs, does it get any better when warm?

Re: Rattle at Certain Speeds and Gears

All TSB's have been applied. Seems like it may be worse when cold, but still noticeable at all times.
