Rattle - Rear Passenger inside compartment area

I have this rattle that I cant seem to locate in my WK2. I can recreate it by driving up into my driveway and backing down allowing the rear passenger tire to go back and forth across the curb. The rattle only seems to occur when I give the car gas not when I hit the break.

I have opened the windows and it doesn't get any louder so it must be coming from the inside compartment. Sounds like it is occuring behind the rear seats close to the area where the subwoofer is.

Has anyone else heard this or tried to track it down?

So I brought the Jeep in to the dealership today to fix my shock noise issue. Got there at 8:00am and waited. They stated that the Jeep also needed a bunch of Flash updates. At 3:00pm they said they were all done.

I go to leave and go over all the paper work, they did the following flashes:

Flash for HVAC
Flash for ASCM
Flash for DTCM
Flash for TCM

I get to the end of the paperwork about the shock noise, it says "Test for concern did not duplicate"

I was pissed and about lost my sh** since that was the entire reason I was there.

I was about to buy a shock (even though the warranty should cover it), since I knew that was the problem.

The service manager had their lead mechanic go on a test drive with me. 2 seconds into the drive you could hear the noise. I drove for another 30 seconds with the noise happening the entire time and said "do we need to keep hearing this?"... Drove back to the service area and the mechanic instructed the service manager to order a new shock and shock mount.

Thank god this is finally going to be resolved, been hearing this noise for months now.

Hi, I have been dealing with noise for almost a year in my 2013 GC. 3 dealers and 4 independent shops have been all over the vehicle plus my own time of countless hours on a lift. Dealer suggested shocks at $972.00 so I had independent replace for $353. No leaking or any signs of wear. Did NOT fix problem. Replace right rear spring insulator pads, upper/ lower. Did Not fix problem. I get a weird thunka thunka sound like a coil spring is loose. Like heavy metal on hard rubber. In my case this noise can be eliminated by spraying WD -40 on the lower end of the coil and on to the lower insulators. This stops that particular noise until rain washes the WD-40 away and the noise returns. Dealer #2 replaced right rear ball joint/knuckle as well as right rear wheel bearing. This eliminated some of the noises I was hearing. Ultimately the hard metal on hard metal loose sound has been diagnosed as the liftgate latch and the weather strip around the lift gate window (it is flattened out), maybe allowing play in the window and causes rattle over slight bumps. Pounding on the glass lightly does seem to replicate the noise. So, a new latch and weatherstrip is on order. I hope other's problems are solved as I'm losing my mind over these annoying rattles. In my case this Jeep was tight as a drum until one day these various noises developed almost suddenly. The dealers do not have a specific solution. Thankfully I purchased a B to B lifetime warranty from Chrystler so worse case for me, is $100 deductible. I'm still trying to get my $353 for the new shocks back as they are supposed to be covered. Dealer claimed they were not covered, they are! Good luck all.

I have this same rattle. It sounds like what it sounds like when you pick up a case of waters. I can not locate the noise.
