Re-order CD Rips on HDD

So I ripped a CD to the drive and it put them in the incorrect order. Such as tracks 4.5.1.3.2.9.7.8. For a CD that tells a "story", it doesnt quite work. Any way to fix this?

Re: Re-order CD Rips on HDD

Not as far as I know. The closest thing you could do is rip them to your computer and rename the tracks with an A, B, C, D, etc. at the beginning of the track name.

The file handling in these media center head units is abysmal, and that isn't going to change. I was expecting to assemble playlists in the unit. Instead, playlists are handled by file structure (the folders themselves) and it just runs alphabetically.

It's annoying, but you can make it work for you. Personally, I just use an iPod instead when I listen to my own music (the internal HD is useful sometimes, but it isn't as useful as I expected).
