Re: Rear cargo tie-downs both broken.
The rear cargo tie down points are fixed into the plastic spare tyre surround - each one by a single 10# self tapping screw.
Certainly not suitable for securing anything substantial.
If you were making a claim to an Australian dealer i think it would be difficult to mount an argument - pretty much impossible to say what weight was fixed and how it was restrained when the damage occurred.
