Rear End Clunking

Well I am super pissed to say my newly purchased chrysler certified 2012 overland (air suspension) is still making what seems to be a very common clunking noise in the driver's side rear end.
I took the jeep to the original dealer within 4 days of the purchase. They said a tsb was done and they could not replicate the noise. Funny thing is there was no pending tsb's when I purchased it. Fast forward 3 weeks, noise is driving me nuts. Taking it to a dealer closer to my house on Monday. I looked on this forum and the web from hours and can't seem to pin point the problem. Are the load leveling shocks and air suspension one in the same?
At this point I am ready to contact my attorney for a recommended lemon law attorney.
Between this and my good friend's 2015 overland tranny issues I might be done with jeep. Bummer since there is not many options out there with a v8 and off road capabilities.

No, the load leveling rear shocks are only on non-QL equipped GC's.

Re: Rear End Clunking

How are your good friends tranny issues affecting you or the drivability of your Jeep??

Lemon laws differ state to state - but you might find it difficult to lemon law 3 almost 4 year old USED vehicle. That and the vehicle has to be in to a dealer multiple times - not just one time.

Re: Rear End Clunking

Just the fact he is having so many issues bugs me. Dropped it off today, let's see what happens. Service guy didn't know dick about the w2k, hate when that's the case. I told him if the tech doesn't hear the sound then to keep driving around the parking lot. I will be pissed if I have to drive the shop foreman around and waste more of my time.

Re: Rear End Clunking

Rear shocks have a leak and mounts need replaced. Parts on backorder eta 10 days.
