Camera options are controlled by the "menu" button on the radio. Select "system setup," then "camera setup" if you have a NAV radio, then "enable rear camera in reverse."

Re: Rear parking sensors/camera

I turn off the sound when I have my hitch mounted bike rack on. It would drive me crazy backing up if I couldn't.

Re: Rear parking sensors/camera

Yes, sorry, the rear parking sensors will only work when the transmission is in reverse, but the front sensors are the ones I mentioned to be annoying while stopped in traffic.

Edit: It also happened to a company car I used to drive (Volvo XC60), but the noise was way lower, it didnīt bother me.

Re: Rear parking sensors/camera

was unaware this was an available feature on the Wk2. Does it work with the ACC sensor, or are there independent, as the rears are?

Re: Rear parking sensors/camera

We donīt have the adaptive cruise control option available here in Brazil, so I assume they are independent.
The referred button controls both at the same time (front+rear sensors). And that is why I would like to muffle the chime just a little bit.

Re: Rear parking sensors/camera

interesting. i'm not sure if you can get the Wk2 with front sensors in the states - maybe someone w/ a limited (or above) will comment. I only have rear sensors in my Laredo .... would LOVE front ones.

Re: Rear parking sensors/camera

You can't get the front sensors in the states. You could always do a custom retrofit, but it's not a normal factory option in the states.

Re: Rear parking sensors/camera

Has anyone worked out how to integrate the Mopar front and rear sensors (available from https://www.mopar.com.au/Pages/Store/Categories.aspx?p=2&f=14&c=1) to the EVIC?
