Rear Seat Belt Adjustment???
This wasn't that big of a problem until my wife mentioned how dangerous it is and I actually had a nightmare about it... cheesy I know, but it is what it is.
All of the back seat belts are tough, but the drivers side back seat is where my 6 year old sits in his small booster seat. The seat belt receiver part is at an extreme angle pointing towards the dashboard and getting the male part (sorry, can't think of a better name) is incredibly difficult to get in and out. An adult can do it but even they have difficulty getting it undone and out, but for my 6 year old, its impossible to put in and even more to get out.
For obvious reasons this is not good. Worst case scenario, I am unconscious and we are in the water, he would be in serious trouble.
Is there a way that anyone knows of to adjust it. It needs to point more in the normal (up) direction and have just a little bit of play in it so he can get it in and out of the receiver. I have owned a lot of cars, and this is the worst I have seen. I can't believe this is not a problem for anyone else and that its acceptable for safety reasons.
Thanks in advance.
