Rear Turn signal bulb out message

I keep getting the left rear turn signal bulb out message on my dash. It started a few weeks ago intermittently, and now it stays on. I replaced the bulb this weekend, but the original looked fine anyway. I checked the wiring around the bulbs and it all looked intact. After I replaced the bulb the turn signal worked fine, but once I put the tail light back into place and drove it the next time it stopped working again.

Any ideas?

Re: Rear Turn signal bulb out message

Sounds like maybe a bad ground. Good luck!

Re: Rear Turn signal bulb out message

Any idea how I might check the ground? I don't feel like shelling out a lot of money just to fix a turn signal bulb....

I checked the M35 and M31 fuses and they were intact.

Thanks
