Looking for some info about putting vented discs in the rear. From what I can read on the forum here they DO NOT FIT (to thick) but what would it take for them to fit?

What parts do I need to swap in order to fit? I need to replace rear rotors due to pulsation and was thinking about upgrading to vented disks while I'm going to do the work anyway. Just trying to figure out the cost to decide if it makes sense.

I have 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Any info would be appreciated.

You need the rotor and caliper off of the HD brake system, or most V-8 tow package Overlands or something like that. The part numbers and all required hardware for either front or rear are all available by searching "heavy duty brakes."

I did a post 3 years ago with the shopping list.

go to the brakes and suspension section and search for it.

Vent rear rotors can actually fit under the 17" wheels .

You need the rotors, calipers and caliper brackets.

I did the conversion earlier this year. Get the VIN number from a V8 Jeep and order the brackets and the calipers. Note that the FRONT rotors are larger with the HD brake package and in of themselves, larger rotors are better and will provide additional braking force. The front calipers are the same but you need different front brackets as well.
