Cuz I'm an attention whore! Whatever. I don't pretend to be a Jeep "guru" but I'm also not going to pretend that my experience with a vehicle that I paid nearly $50 grand for has been a totally trouble-free. This forum is for Jeep owners to exchange information. That's all I'm doing. To suggest that I'm spreading "misinformation" is idiotic. Oh, and thanx for that little nugget of information about disconnecting the negative battery cable... why didn't I think of that!!! Brilliant! Wow. I guess I'll just go back to sleep and pretend that my Jeep doesn't have aaaaaany problems. Now if only I could live my life that way.
Hey I'm tryin to help. You and everyone else here.
What's with all the hostility in your third post
on this forum ?
We did exchange information...... you posted misinformation about installing a replacement TIPM and I corrected that misinformation.
How's that "idiotic"??
And "that little nugget of information about disconnecting the negative battery cable" comes right from my 2012 factory service manual, something not everyone may be aware of!
Get over it!
Most of my posts are from the bin there done that variety, especially when it comes to faulty TIPM's. Unfortunately I've learned to become somewhat of an expert on that!
You could easily put me on the ignore list on go on your merry way.......I'm sure your local Chrysler dealer would love to rip you off repeatedly and continuously, while they refuse to fix your Jeep the right way. Maybe that's where you got that misinformation in the first place? Have a nice day.
