My jeep built 719 and delivered on 7/26. I did 1st Oil change and got charged extra 41 for synthetic and they had my jeep on the evic update list which took 2.5 hours to complete. This is second update as they did a transmission on my 4x4 in October when I had them do 19.38.2.

Everything good (so far)

Re: Recall notices for instrument cluster

I got a postcard today from my dealer asking me to make an appointment for the N58 recall. With the last parking light recall I also got a postcard from the dealer a couple weeks before the official notice from Chrysler.

They should just be tightening ground cables to 106in/lb (or something in that area) and flash instrument cluster and abs module.

Check this out if you haven't already: http://wk2jeeps.com/tsb/rc_N5813.pdf

Re: Recall notices for instrument cluster

This recall notice is listed on the Jeep UConnect site when I login, but it won't allow me to print it out.

My 2014 GC Limited was built in April.

Sorry if this was answered further down in the chain. I had the same issue. They told me it was the ABS module, which they ordered and replaced. Problem solved. Now if I could just get that rough shift (1-2, 5-4) problem taken care of...

There is a TSB for the 8 speed with the 3.6 motor built before 08/12, here is the link: http://wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_2100713b.pdf

I don't have the 3.6 so I can't comment on how much if any improvement was realized after doing this update.

Re: Recall notices for instrument cluster

I still do not have the letter. Mine was supposedly built July 30.

Yesterday, it turned the driver's seat heat on high by itself, and I had started it with the push button, not the remote. It was weird - the seat getting warmer, me wondering what was going on, then checking and finding it on high.

That is the designed behavior.

Mine was built 8/10 and no notice and nothing on uconnect fash panel

It could be up to 8/20 where different trims or orders got transistioned to the the never abs over some period

Re: Recall notices for instrument cluster

I don't think anyone has received the recall notice from Chrysler yet. If you have, please post. I have heard that dealers have contacted some.
