Recommended Oil and Filter for 3.6

Hey guys this is my first post on the site. Just want to know what oil you guys have been using for your 3.6 engines and also if anyone has experienced any problems with not using a mopar oil filter. I see that bosch and stp make similar ones but I do not want to make a mistake and cause any damage to my engine. Thanks for the help.

KJ

Re: Recommended Oil and Filter for 3.6

Use any oil according to your manual (follow specs and change intervals), and you'll be fine. I've been using Wix/Napa Gold filters, and they have been working great.

Re: Recommended Oil and Filter for 3.6

It still surprises me that so many people dont get free oil changes for life??

I dont think there is a dealer within 100 miles of me that doesnt offer this free with a new car. They have been doing it for 10 years here (western NY)

but yeah, any decent name oil/filter is fine.
