So does mine except for the rare time it needs an extra press as a kick in the butt to get a response.

My 2015 works as well with just two clicks of the remote.

Previously if our Jeep were asleep it required four - the first two would wake her up and the next two would open the tailgate.
It has been a month and a half since I had this update installed.

Previously I didn't use the remote lift gate because it was plain frustrating - I have since been using it a lot and it never once has needed anything more than a double press.

FURTHERMORE I found it frustrating that when I drive the Jeep after my wife last used it I need to insert my hand in the door handle to unlock and open, then re-insert my hand again to make the seat move to my position - it never did it when I first insert my hand in the handle. Since the above update it has worked perfectly every time - I put my hand in, open door, and see the seat already moving to my position. Every time without fail - yay!

Re: Remote Liftgate Opening

Just had this update done. My 2014 now opens with just 2 clicks! After 2.5 years of owner ship it finally works right. Speaking of tailgates, mine is kind of noisy when it opens. Should I put some lube we are supposed to put on the struts to keep them quiet? If so, what kind? The power strut had some kind of plastic cover that may be where the noise is coming from.

Re: Remote Liftgate Opening

I've gotten used to pressing lock or unlock first to wake up the car, then press tailgate button 2x. A simple workaround, but I will have to do that 08-100-15!

Not sure about the lube and sound though.

Mine was making a sound and the dealer replaced the strut on the right side (not the motorized strut) and that got rid of the noise. Maybe yours is the same.

This TSB has made a big difference. But lately, and not every time, when clicking 2x, the liftgate starts to release, doesn't really rise at all, then it just relatches itself closed again. Next 2 clicks and it opens. Almost back to square one where it took 4 clicks to open. Ridiculous.

Maybe I'll ask the dealer to redo the TSB again. I have to get back there before the warranty is up in a month. I also been having a problem with the HVAC not turning on. Have to pull over, shut the engine off, and restart, then it operates properly. Also a couple times, the ventilated seats didn't turn on. Turning off engine resets it.

Is there a way to reset the Uconnect on the fly? TIA

With multiple electric gremlins like that try pulling the battery cable. I had an issue with the liftgate not opening at all and the battery cable pull reset it and fixed it

I believe you push and hold the mute and tune buttons in simultaneously.
