Mine only needed one double click .... until today. Now (3 times today) it needs two double clicks.

Going into sand mode stopped raising the car, but the quadralift works fine if I press the button. I worked properly for awhile.

When I get in my car the notice to step on the brake and hit the start button goes out after a couple of seconds, it may or may not come back on.

Nothing major, but a real damper on confidence. I keep wondering what will be next.

Sure sounds like they have electrical gremlins popping up all over the 2014's.

Re: Remote Liftgate Opening

I noticed this the other day as well. Walked out of the store while raining and thought I would get a head start by opening the hatch... Took 2 sets of double taps to get it to open. Before, it had only taken one shot. I originally thought that maybe I was out of range until I saw your thread.

Hmmm? I'm pretty sure mine worked the proper way for maybe the first week. Sounds like after owning the vehicle a short while, somehow the keyfob liftgate opening feature stops working. I bet the engineers will have fun trying to fix that feature. Probably due to the new electrical system they have on the 2014's. My dealer put a call into Chrysler this past Monday am to open a case on my WK2. They were supposed to get back to him within 24 hours. But so far, no response.

Re: Remote Liftgate Opening

My dealer looked at my Summit today for the 2- 2x clicks needed to open the liftgate. After 2 hours they come back with normal operation due to radio interference. I then took the service manager out to my Jeep which was parked in the middle of his lot and he tried it and when it didn't open with 2 clicks, he said that's not right and is contacting Chrysler for a response. He also got the keyfobs for 3 other 2014's on the lot and of course each one of those operated correctly. So the saga continues.

Re: Remote Liftgate Opening

Progress! He didn't say it was normal; he checked others and confirmed his opinion; now he is approaching Chrysler for a resolution of a problem he identified. This sounds hopeful, Bob.

Mine is also taking 2 double clicks on the remote. Keep us posted. I think it may have changed when I set the locking behavior to be one unlock opens drivers door and 2 opens all doors on the fob.

I also noticed that when switching from 1 unlock press just opens the drivers door, the unlocking behavior changed illogically. Now a pull of the interior door handle unlocks all doors. Seems backwards as before with one press unlocks all doors, the drivers door handle pull only unlocked the drivers door.

I'll see. The service manager yesterday said he would let me know in an hour or so what Chrysler said after he opens a STAR case. It's been 24 hours and no response from the dealer yet.

Re: Remote Liftgate Opening

Any update on this? Mine is still take 2 - 2x presses to open the rear tailgate if it sits more than a few minutes.

Re: Remote Liftgate Opening

My service manager called me last Tuesday to say they are waiting for the ASCM to arrive for the error message in the EVIC for the air suspension. Should take a day or 2 for the module to arrive. But so far, it's been a week and not a word.

He also mentioned that he has like 5 steps to try to hopefully get the double click on the keyfob to open the liftgate. I just don't know if I want my vehicle to be a gunea pig for trial and error.

I was hoping maybe the latest Uconnect update would fix the liftgate problem but I think its more involved than a software update.
