Nope had at least half a tank or more. There is one thing I need to check myself before I bring it to the dealer. I have a ported stock intake manifold and throttle body and since porting the intake manifold I have an "idle RPM higher than expected" DTC. I clear it and it comes back within a day or so of driving. I need to clear it and then try the remote start. Not sure how an idle RPM code would interfere with the remote start but stranger things have happened.
Edit: just reset the ECM to erase the code still fires up runs for a few seconds then turns off.
From the manual "If an engine fault is present or fuel level is low, the vehicle will start and then shutdown in 10 seconds." Idle RPM higher than expected would be viewed as a system fault.
I have a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland and every time I use remote start it shuts off within 5 seconds. It is not low gas. Is there a reset setting that has been messed with?
my 08 jeep commander just recently starting doing the same thing I'm not sure if it's because my need an oil change light came on or what but if anyone has a solution please let me know thanks
