Removing headlights

Probably been covered before, but searching didn't turn much up.

I'm trying figure out how to remove the passenger side light on my 2011 Grand Cherokee Laredo X 4x4 for two reasons: one the parking light is burnt out (turn signal still works though) and two, I hit a deer Friday morning. Didn't do anything major damage but deformed the fender a little and pushed the light housing in and down. Now the housing and that side of the grill are loose. Wanting to see if there's anything in there that I can do without having to take it to the body shop. Looking under the hood isn't too helpful with plastic everywhere and the coolant tank in the way. Don't want to just start taking stuff apart hoping I find something useful and all those plastic rivets are really easy to break so I try to avoid every touching them.

Re: Removing headlights

Hi there,

I have the exact information required to do this but it is a lot of work to do it the right way. It envolves removing the front bumper/fascia and the grill then that will allow you access to remove the lamp assembly.

message back if you want the step by step.
