replaced front struts still get a basketball suspension

Good day,

Hopefully somebody can offer a bit of advice. I had noticed that the suspension on my 2011 GC with 105k seemed to be basketballing or skipping. The ride was different. So we replaced the front struts as they were leaking and my front tires starting to cup.

Unfortunately the basketballing still seems to be there. I am running 285/50r-20s on SRT rep rims but they have been on since last December and this problem only started like a month or so ago. I also had the suitcase muffler replaced recently but don't think that would be it.

It only happens over certain types of bumps. The rear shocks are supposedly fine. Any thoughts

Thanks so much

What about your alignment? Did you have that done lately? I think negative camber can cause these vehicles to act erratic on some bumps.

Re: replaced front struts still get a basketball suspension

i just had an alignment done and my camber's were all good
I was off on cross caster actual .5 specified range -.5 -> .5

I was also off on front left toe actual .22 range .04 -> .16
and
right front caster actual 4.6 range 5 -> 6

I was going to get it aligned that night but had to get son.

Loaded struts or reuse your old coils?
