I called JEEP - Customer Assistance and told them about the issues I was having with the RHR and that I was not the only one with these problems.
They said this is the first they heard of these issues and that the RHR is suppose to have an update built into it for the iPhone 4.

So, as of this time there is no update for the RHR. I find it hard to believe no one has called about these issues before.

In any case this is the number I called.

Update on my issues... The dealer I purchased from has finally corrected their "In Service Date" and the servicing dealer called today to confirm it is now showing up as it should be in Chrysler Dealer Connect. I have to bring the car back on Monday now that I have warranty coverage, but the service advisor said he had the tech look at it the other day when it was there and they determinded the radio has an issue. They said they are planning to order a replacement. Hopefully things will go smoothly from here on that.

The extended service contract is still not corrected. Still shows a start date of 2/23/11, even though I purchased it on 9/1/11. I have filed a case with Chrysler customer service because the dealer seems incompetent. They have a different story everytime I call them as to what they are doing to fix it.

I'll update this when I have new info.

***Milous, I tried replying to your PM to give you my VIN info, but since I don't have 10 posts it wouldn't let me. Seems a little odd since I donated 30 dollars to this site that I am not given full access, but thanks for trying to help.

Just got a new jeep the other day that has the 703N RHR and my wife has just had the same problem.

Hi,

Mine had the same problem. Now and then the audio was off on all sources, and even the Audio settings from the menu was disabled (grayed out). The service guy almost didn't believe me, until I was able to replicate it there, in the service.
After that, I got a new radio, a RHR with the UConnect emblem on the button (as was for the RER before).
Problem solved, from that moment on. Radio feels a bit faster with USB.

My RHR froze today on the way to work, my car is only two weeks old with 600 miles on it. -

I select AUX and select any one of the 3 Bluetooth devices I have paired to the car, or I select the ipod MP3 player plugged in through the center console USB connection.
The display shows that I am connected to the source, but there is no audio
I switch back to AM, FM or SAT and the radio displays that the music is playing, but there is no audio.
Turning the volume knob does nothing, it doesn't even show the volume indicator increasing or decreasing.
Went into the menu and Audio Controls was greyed out.
Turning the radio off and back on does not fix it.

Didn't have time to let the car sit so it will be interesting to see if the radio works when I leave today.

Try pulling the fuses (they are separate for radio and BT)
