Sirius actually has an automated refresh system in place now. Have called them while on the road several times.

Tried the radio refresh and didn't help or couldn't get the automated system to cooperate?

The satellite signal is digital. When it degrades, you don't get humming or buzzing, you just get dropouts.

Your humming buzzing problem is probably caused by a defective head unit. See your dealer.
