Question Seat fan cooler is so loud!

Is anyone else's really loud? Have you had it looked at?
2 months after I owned the Jeep I had an issue with the cooler. When I would push the button it would work for about 30 seconds then the blue indicator lights on the switch would blink and it would turn off. It has not done it since then but I'm wondering if it is related...?

Re: Seat fan cooler is so loud!

mine are super quiet. Our Chevy Traverse chilled seats are super loud compared to the jeep, but I believe it's normal with that vehicle.

Re: Seat fan cooler is so loud!

I just used mine last week for first time, and I don't remember it being that loud. At least not enough that I noticed it.

Re: Seat fan cooler is so loud!

It is loud, noisy. I noticed Jeep really needs to work on it general build quality. In this case, fan noise. Cooling seat fan and HVAC fan are quite noisy.

Seat fans and HVAC fan on my Overland are quiet. I also have great hearing so if they were noisy, I'd notice it.

Re: Seat fan cooler is so loud!

Mine (seats and HVAC) are both quiet. HVAC noticeable at high speeds but still in the quiet range compared to my other vehicles.

Re: Seat fan cooler is so loud!

yeah, something must not be right, buckeyeSRT. this is the first I've heard of the seats(cooling) being loud. I am very attentive to things and I don't even know they are on with windows up and radio off. I've been in one other wk2 with the cooling option and it was super quiet as well.

Re: Seat fan cooler is so loud!

If you can hear fan motor sound(it almost sound like old hard drive in PC), to me, it's noisy. I definately do not hear same level of fan noise from my other cars with heat/cool seats.

Re: Seat fan cooler is so loud!

I would compare mine to a small room fan (12 inch or so) on low to medium.

Re: Seat fan cooler is so loud!

i tested mine yesterday to compare and with the windows up & radio off mine are so quiet I am not even able to confirm if they are on or not without looking at the button or feeling the seats.
