Seat Heater Problem

Need some help here guys. My 2011 GC Overland's driver side seat heater quit working today. When I press the seat heater button, the light turns on, then off after a few seconds. I can hear the relay click from what sounds to be below the passenger glove box. The passenger Side works correctly and so does the steering wheel. Any idea on what is causing the issue, or has anyone been in the same boat?

As it turns out, it only happens when the vehicle was remote started. It works if you normally start it.

Re: Seat Heater Problem

I noticed this today that when I remote start the seat heat light comes on but the drivers side does not heat (even though the light is on) When I turn the car off and restart it works. This just started happening in the last 2 weeks.

I'm wondering if it's the really cold weather and the module. It didn't work this morning. But this afternoon for lunch it worked fine. Questioning weather I'm taking it to the dealership.

Re: Seat Heater Problem

Kind of the same situation.

No matter how I start the jeep, when I turn on/off the driver side seat warmer, there is a audible click from the relay(?) under the passenger seat. Seat warmer works though.

No clicking when selecting the passenger seat warmer on/off.

Re: Seat Heater Problem

I have exact same issue WTA0002. I also have a 2011 GC. Not sure what the fix is for this but it only happens when weather is below freezing or close to it.

Re: Seat Heater Problem

I have had the same issue as well. It started last winter and was really only when I used my remote starter. If I restarted the car it turned on and stayed on. It has been working fine all Fall, but just happened again this morning (the first really cold morning where I live).
