I own the Laredo with the E group package, but I think these
two features are standard for most JCG 2012 models.
#1: The Vehicle Security Light. According to
the owners manual (p.293) this light flashes slowly on and off
once the vehicle is locked. As far as I can tell, I don't have
this blinking light or maybe I'm missing some major feature ? Just
Looking in the locked door I can't see any light. It does show
up in the ACC/ON mode. I'm assuming here, that you can simply
lock the doors with the Key Fob and then see this light blinking
through the window. Right ?
#2: The "Loose Fuel Filler Cap" message light. In the manual
on page 523 it says that if the fuel cap is loose....etc., then
you'll get a "message" or indicator light notification in the
EVIC. I thought I'd try this out and took the fuel cap off and
even left the fuel door open and drove around for about a
half hour and I never got a warning.
I hoping that any other Laredo owners could confirm if they
have either or both of these lights/indicators and if they work.
Thanks
