SERV 4WD light

I was on a trip today cruising at highway speed. All of a sudden the "SERV r4WD" warning light comes on along with the traction control "off" light. I stopped at a rest area, shut off the engine, and restarted. The warning lights did not come on the rest of the trip. Should I be concerned about this, or is it just a passing Gremlin type thing.

JEEP was at dealer today. They found code C1451-64 stored in system and performed all functionality tests. All tests passed and no problems were found. So, why the warning light came on in the first place is a mystery at this point. The warning light is now off and I hope it stays that way.

I had this happen when i was off road. It actually means you have no 4wd so lucky you were off road or you would have been stuck like i was. I had to get towed out of the bush. Light went off after a while and 4wd came back. Dealer performed a tsb but i havent been game to go bush again incase i get stuck.

My Serv 4WD light came on last week so I finally decided it was time to take it in to fix the laundry list of problems that had been annoying me. It turns out that my ELSD module is bad as the flash didn't do the trick. Of course they didn't have it in stock along with the fitting and hose to fix my leaking air suspension and could not get the parts delivered in spite of being in for almost three days. Now I get to have to bring it in again and suffer through the poor communication and customer service of the dealer one more time. I've been told that Fiat is putting a big emphasis on customer service. I hope it's true or it will be my last Chrysler product. My expectations are not that nothing will ever fail. I simply want my time be respected, get phone calls updating me when they have committed to making calls and not to have my vehicle hit or dinged when it's at the dealer. I came back to Jeep after an X5 and a Touareg. I guess I became spoiled by the level of service I received especially from BMW. VW was a close second.

The ELSD module finally came in and, after sitting at the dealer for hours, was replaced. Just as the porter brought it up for me to drive away the light came on again. They summoned the mechanic who has no idea what's wrong since the TSB was done and the module replaced. Now they want me to make an appointment and leave it for "at least" a day so they can check with Chrysler. Does anyone have any insight?
