I went back today for them to work on it and they presented me with a star case number s1408000255 stating that it functions as designed. You have to push squarely in the center of the button, firmly, to make the two contacts in the button work. If you only hit one contact the system disengages. Thinking they should have included a hammer to make sure the strike pattern was sufficiently forceful and even to allow the resume function to work..
Same here, they replaced the switch. It does work better but I still occasionally get the error unless I press square. Seems like a cheap excuse. I've posted my fair share of complaints lately. The vehicle is very nice in design and capability, just poorly executed.
I also own late model ford, chevy, and a 2012 Durango. I don't have to make excuses or delicately touch controls in those. They just work. End Rant
