Service Air Suspension system immediately
As I was pulling out of my office parking lot, I heard a crunch. It sounds like I ran over an empty soda can. It didn't last much longer than that. After getting to a stop light, the car started making more crunching noises and then the "Service Air suspension immediately" message came up on the EVIC.
It felt like the car was riding high - Off Road 1 probably - and the suspension felt stiff. After I got home, I pull the fuse F5 to check it out and it was burned out. I went to Autozone to replace it and that didn't seem to fix the problem.
My air suspension system isn't working at all right now. As I said, it seems to be in off road 1. In fact, as I was driving home, the EVIC said I needed to lower the ride height to continue at my speed.
This is the worst timing ever. We are headed out to Georgia for the weekend (about 5 hours in no traffic) tomorrow morning. My question is: can I drive it on the highway there and back in this condition? Or do I need to get it serviced before going on a long trip?
It's 2015 CRD Overland if that matters. TIA!
