Service Appointment

I finally scheduled a service appointment with a list of issues hopefully to be fixed on 9/12.
1. Piece of molding on the dash is loose.
2. Thud in the steering wheel during low speeds (saw the new TSB on this)
3. Peformance issues with shifting/accelerating (does anyone know of a TSB number for the V6? I only saw one for the 5.7)
6. Squeak in my drivers seat back.
5. Push button start doesn't always recognize the key

Also curious if you print out TSB's for the issues you have or rely on the dealer to know what your talking about...

Requested a loaner and the service advisor said this sounds like a 2 day job...

Re: Service Appointment

My seat is squeaking too about three quarters of the way up when I sit back with any pressure.

Re: Service Appointment

Mine Jeep is at the dealer right now getting the thud fixed along with the squeaky seat back and some other small issues. This is my second trip to the dealer in two months of ownership and I'm hoping this doesn't become a regular thing. At least my dealer is very understanding and supplied me with a free loaner.

Re: Service Appointment

Just for an update...brought my Jeep in this morning and just got a call from my SA. For the squeak in the seat, they were able to isolate the problem and then reassemble to resolve it (I will see if I can get more details when i pick it up). Trim piece was ordered along with an intermediate shaft for the "thud" in the steering wheel. Push button they got to work every time (of course), so I will have to monitor this. I also noticed one of the ohh sh*t handles was squeaking so they also ordered that. Once all parts are in they will schedule me for another appointment, so I will update you all with the thud if that goes away. Just to note, after two visits, I have been getting great service at my dealer...they even give a jeep for a loaner.
