Had mine done today. Is anyone else a little underwhelmed? It does seem better on the rolling stops. Downshifts quicker to 2nd instead of staying in fourth until you almost floor it. But in no way does it totally transform truck as some have stated..

I too am underwhelmed, called my dealer and they are willing to apply the TSB again in case it somehow did not take the first time

My mileage hasn't changed, but there still is "slight" bucking/studdering under light throttle at less than 40 mph.

I noticed something similar on a slight incline at 55MPH as well.

Isn't this the "fish bite" which has not been addressed as of yet?

I didn't want to bring it up... not sure how many years it applies to but the Star Case said 11-13 that I had read

I had this update done last week and have not noticed a difference. Still have the shudder and now every once in a while I get a very harsh downshift that will throw you forward in your seat. I have been to three different dealers, so next step is openning up a case I guess (is what the technician said). O well my wife loves the looks of the jeep but it sees a technician more than I see it. O well you live and you learn I am only 26 so I have quite a few more vehicles to buy in my lifetime and if this does not get resolved none of them will be a chrysler product.

I plan on getting this done tomorrow. There shouldn't be a charge for it correct? My vehicle is past 36,000 miles but still within the power train warranty. Thanks!

I wouldn't think there would be a charge. Did you notify them of the problem before your 3/36 ran out? If so they should do it. I also think your covered under the drivetrain warranty. The labor is 0.2 hours. Either way the improvement is night and day of a difference.

Folks - is the general consensus that if it ain't broke, don't fix it?

I experience no symptoms in my transmission whatsoever in my 2011. I'm hesitant to let the dealer touch it.
I bought it certified and also not sure if it's been tuned (not sure if there's any way to check). All i can verify is that it has the Volant intake and it pulls tremendously well under almost any circumstance. Throttle is very sensitive.

Are others in the same boat? I usually tend to want to apply any updates to the car, but im not sure there's any advantage in this case...
Thoughts?
