This sticker is on the hood of our 2011 Jeep GC can anyone decipher it for me. We purchased it from a dealer, previously owned.

Thanks

That usually pertains to a software update that they did, and it is letting others know it has been done, dealers are supposed to put one under the hood, most don't seem to do that however.

The RR11-038 is the reference to the TSB as it means Rapid Release;

This link should bring you to that TSB which was done. http://wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_1801211a.pdf

That's a good RRT/TSB to have done. It made great improvements to the Pentastar throttle response and transmission shifting.

Nothing to worry about.

Some dealers were reluctant to perform this TSB 18-012-11 last March (don't know why), but my experience is that the reluctance is now gone. I was offered the revision 'A' version later on without asking, since the dealer saw that the VIN called for application of the TSB on his service computer.

The TSB may have been done on your vehicle (even with no sticker applied under the hood) already. If you are unsure, ask your dealer about it.

There are several threads about this issue and the related TSBs going back more than a year, and one is a sticky, if you want to read more.
