Just goes to show they have no idea what they are doing.
You need to see if there is a way of logging all info on the BUS. Then go through the log. The trouble is you need to know what to look for in the log. That is, it will be logging something that is not meant to be there.

Try and PM Wilix in the states. He is a tech guru and might know where to start.

Re: service tire pressure system

I got my tires replaced today. When I picked up the car front right tire was giving an erroneous 26 reading . Service guys told me it happens sometimes and it should go away after driving awhile. Didn't .
And while driving got the service pressure system and at the same second front right sensor was showing "--"
Went back they replaced the front right and back right . Right after that I got erroneous reading on front left and back right...lol
After 20 miles trip front left went back to normal but back right shows "--" and... You guessed : service presure system. Wtf

So after a few months of not checking the Jeep Garage site, I decided to get on and see if anyone else was having the same problem. Sure enough, yours popped up.

I'm having the exact same problem. For no rhyme or reason, I'll get the error. Sometimes it goes after a few miles. Sometimes it takes a restart. Sometimes the restart doesn't work. The only consistent thing is that the dealer can't reproduce the error. Every once in a while I'll get an issue with 'Service Shifter' message that causes the Jeep to shift roughly. I even had the Christmas lights one day.

I'm getting fed up dealing with this issue. After many years of owning Jeeps (20+), I'm sad to say that this will probably be my last one.

I'm taking it in to the dealer (again!) today. If they come up with anything new, I'll let you know.

BTW, mine is a 2014 GC Limited V6.

Re: service tire pressure system

I recently replaced all 4 wheels and tires. The TPMS sensors from the factory wheels were removed and installed on the new wheels. For a week, everything was great and then last Wednesday, I got the TPMS-SERV message. The tech's at the tire shop tried 3 times to "relearn" the sensors, etc. with no luck. So, I have an appointment scheduled at the dealer on the 12th. Is there anything I should have them specifically inspect? Has anyone resolved this issue?

I'll report back what I'm told, charges, etc.

Thanks,
B Mack

Re: service tire pressure system

I thought I had better update this thread, as I have another one in the SRT section.
After putting up with this problem for a year and Jeep having 6 goes at fixing it, it looks like they have finally fixed the problem.
They replaced all the TPMS sensors in the wheels. It has been a week without error, so I am hoping this will help others that may be experiencing the problem.

Re: service tire pressure system

The only way to change Bar to Psi is to change all measurements from metric to imperial. 1 bar is 14.5psi

Re: service tire pressure system

I've tried that. All other measurements are imperial. (Set to US rather than metric)

But the TPMS refuses to change from Bar

Re: service tire pressure system

I also have this problem, I changed my wheels and tires and the new package had aftermarket TPMs sensors. Truck was fine for the first 2-3 weeks then the light came on. Sounds like I will need to install new Chrysler/Jeep sensors on the aftermarket wheels to make this go away

Re: service tire pressure system

Still working fine. The dealer called me up last week and was very happy to hear I had no further errors.

Re: service tire pressure system

Close to 100,000 miles on my '12 GC Overland and I'm getting this message now. Is the only solution to get 4 new mopar wheel sensors?

Re: service tire pressure system

Update, the warning went off after a few days, then came on again last weekend. I ignored it and it went away again.

Intermittent issues point to an electrical connector. I'll probably disassemble and clean the connectors to the sensors next time I rotate tires and inspect brakes.
